Death doula. Sound healer. Writer.

My work takes me onto and into thresholds: those potent moments of incredible change where we find Potential, clarity, and purpose. I am an end-of-life doula, sound healer, and writer. I have an undergraduate degree in mathematics and a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School. I have worked in ministry, Waldorf education, and integrative healing settings for much of my adult life, and I have experienced a year of treatment for stage IV cancer in the midst of the pandemic. I am here to hold light and to hand it to you: sharing spiritual and material resources that I have picked up along my winding path, empowering you to dive deep into the layers of your experience toward brighter engagement with life.

I offer sound healing sessions for individuals at my Chapel Hill location, and end-of life doula services in Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, Carrboro, and Durham.

My first book, The Platinum in the Poison: Spiritual and Material Resources from a Year of Chemotherapy, is now available in print, ebook, and audiobook formats. Journey with me through the complexities of a year of weekly chemotherapy for stage IV cancer during the pandemic. This work shares stories, reflections, and supportive resources that bridge western and alternative healing. In the depths of the poison I find light, potential, and Purpose. May you find it, too.
